Up and

Running
The Brierley Hill Project is now 10 days into being open. We kicked off the opening with a

youth provision targeting 16-30 year olds specifically. We’ve had several people casually drop-in to see what

we’re about and we have been help some. The MC’ing session started last night to a high demand and has been our

most successful venture to date.

Other activities that happen here are: a ‘Keep Fit’ class -Wednesday

6:30-7pm, Youth Provision – Monday 7:30-9:30pm, Rainbow Toddlers – Thursday 9:30-11:30am, Careers Advice –

Wednesday 1:30-3:30pm, plus many more things happening here at the BHP.

Brierley Hill Project News Update – 27/3/08

April 3rd, 2008 by admin

Yesterday we opened the

Youth Provision for the young people on ACC’s ‘Easter Blast’ week. This was the very first time all apparatus

was used, it was deemed as a success.

Last Thursday on the day-off Hope ’08 we had many volunteers from

Amblecote and Calvary Church helping out. One of the roles on the day was ‘leaflet dropping’. We have already

had response today from this, as a man from Iraq seeking our help regarding work placement and English language

lessons.

Everything is now being put in place for our opening on Monday April 7th, all final touches and

preparations are being done by the BHP team.
