BHP Selected as local Sainsbury’s “Charity of the Year”
July 2nd, 2011 by adminBHP was recently selected as “Charity of the Year” by customers of the Amblecote branch of Sainsbury’s. There was an evening at the store recently where the BHP was “introduced”. They had put on lots of food and a fashion show with a very funny climax with the managers dressing up as the Spice Girls….the staff really enjoyed the presentation about the project and really connected at a heart level into the stories from volunteers and staff of what we do and why we do it…even a few tears were shed by people who were very moved…also they had said maybe they would raise around £2k over the year but already nearly half way there because people have really caught the heart of the project and want to help…. this is very exciting!!!
