This week has brought it’s fair share of trials and tribulations, domestic violence, fear and anxiety. It’s not easy to walk with people in pain sometimes. It’s the good news that keeps us going like a client 30 days free from alcohol and drugs.
It’s the inspirational people too – the alcoholic in recovery that now volunteers, that has applied for an allotment because they love to grow vegetables and want to teach peers to do the same, that has booked on a cookery course, that has a passion to feed the homeless. Amazing. Homelessness is devastating and this week we encountered the youngest homeless person in our memory.
To support our work we are hosting a Fashion Show with Pop-Up Shop on Tuesday 20th September 2016. It will be held at Amblecote Christian Centre, Brettell Lane, AMBLECOTE. DY8 4BS and doors open at 7pm.
It’s a Colours FUNdraising event with all the ex high street fashion you could want at discounted prices. High Street names include New Look, Wallis, M&S, Oasis, TopShop & Next so you’re sure to find something to suit your taste!
Tickets have to be bought in advance at a cost of £5 to include refreshments and entry into a prize draw.
All the ticket money goes to support the work of the Brierley Hill Project so whether you want an evening out to browse, add an item to your wardrobe or completely update it is up to you. There is no pressure to buy. If you would like a ticket you can pop into the Project or email firstname.lastname@example.org
