Drop in was active again this week (53 People over 2 sessions), with people even bringing their friends along, there’s a good feeling about the sessions and the Drop In space is feeling more and more like a community.
Foodbank Figures were high again showing the need for food in the area is staying right up there. Due to an influx of donations recently people were fed the necessities, and more which is always good and we are so thankful for the donations. Over all figures for Jan were 107 Referrals, 146 adults and 88 children were fed.
7 – 1′ 2′ 1’s last week, specifically one young lady had housing issues but after pushing in a bit there seemed to be deeper underlying issues. These were dealt with before going any further and it wasn’t that long before a high level of trust was formed.
Challenge for Change was a good session and was attended by a gentlemen who runs Wordsley Wasps football club, we got three lads who were interested and agreed to go to see if it was for them.
MC Check was good with Jordan making progress with his MC Battles and doing several radio shows recently.
Graveyard was really wet, really really wet! We got as much done as we could but a lot of time was spent indoors as the rain wouldn’t die down. People had lots to talk about though.
