Mission & Vision

The mission of the Brierley Hill Project is to provide targeted life support and mentoring for the people from the Brierley Hill area and wider Dudley Borough.

The Brierley Hill Project envisions a community in which every person experiences hope, belonging, purpose and personal value. Through building strong relationships and being an active participator in the community our hope is that each person will reach their full potential being capable of making informed and responsible decisions.

Aims & Values

  • The aim of the Brierley Hill Project is to provide a facility, which offers a safe and welcoming environment for those in need. We seek to create a space where relationships are built with those living in the Brierley Hill area and the wider Dudley Borough. We aim to provide opportunities for people to benefit mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically regardless of their age, health, disability, finances or other circumstance.

    We never give up on people and we actively seek and create opportunities for people to achieve new things and overcome those things that hold them back.

    We will challenge the damaging/inappropriate choices and behaviour of others as well as the ways in which people’s choices and opportunities are constrained by others.

    We try to offer opportunities for people to give/contribute as well as to receive.

    Facing the truth

    We will both welcome and learn from feedback and will offer feedback to others in a spirit of respect; we will try to learn from experience and to change where change is needed.

    Letting go of being wronged

    We do not keep a record of wrongs committed by others or by ourselves; we acknowledge our failures with courage and as openly as we can.

    Seeking righteousness/right relationships

    We strive to act fairly in our own dealings, to maintain right relationships and, so far as we are able, to stand with the weak and vulnerable in combating injustice.
